Piano Lessons
Fitzpatrick Academy provides piano instruction for students of all ages and skill levels. Daniel brings extensive experience as both a teacher and performer. While earning his Master’s in music composition, he served as the pianist for the Mizzou New Music Ensemble—a competitive role typically reserved for performance majors. Classically trained, Daniel is also well-versed in many other genres and has performed regularly as an accompanist, church keyboardist, and solo pianist.
Banjo Lessons
Fitzpatrick Academy provides exceptional banjo instruction, led by Daniel, a specialist in 3-finger style banjo. Through his original compositions and innovative arrangements, he has expanded the instrument beyond its Bluegrass roots. Banjo virtuoso Tony Trischka has praised Daniel’s playing as 'totally impressive.'

Music Theory / Composition
Whether you're learning piano, banjo, or guitar, a strong foundation in music theory and composition can enrich your musical journey. Daniel holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in composition and has been widely recognized for his work. He has written for esteemed artists and ensembles, including the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, Alarm Will Sound, the Mizzou New Music Ensemble, Bjorn Ranheim, and Peter Henderson.
